HP Reverb G2
Nvidia GEForce GTX1070 8GB
Intel i7, 16GB RAM

(New to VR) having trouble with:
- Heli-X sound cutting out after a while
- using the mouse inside the headset: mouse freezes when wearing the headset, can be used in 3D preview window when taking it off.

The mouse appears to be restricted to the area shown on the laptop Heli-x screen, and may only show a smaller area than that available when wearing your glasses. Try ctrl-alt-F11 to change the view on the laptop.

Thanks Mike, however I discovered that it is the proximity sensor in the G2 that detects wearing it that disables the mouse movement. This is exactly opposite of how it should work IMHO. I think that only happens when launching HeliX for a second time or more after a reboot. Bit I need to test it some more. Still new to the G2 and VR. Also the cable needs replacement due to USB issues so this may be due to the cable too ….

Hi lama12
On the mixed reality screen, pressing win-Y allows the mouse to work in the glasses

Thanks Mike, I also disabled the proximity sensor now all is predictable again.
