Good morning and thx for reaching out. I have a red screen when trying to launch on my iMac. On my MacBook Pro it was working and now it launches with a black screen. I have seen a few posts on things similar, but no one seems to know what it might be.
I have a new Macbook Air running Sequoia 15.4 (current) and I cannot seem to find a 'mouse setting' that allows me to have a fully functional screen. Menu's appear Mid-Screen and effectively, has about 2/3 of the screen unusable. Menus' dont work....
I was able to use it a couple of days ago, but as soon as I mirrored to my big screen, or HDMI'd to another television it drops right out.
I dont own a PC, and honestly running this sim on a 13" screen is not exciting for me.
1. Mac mini M4 runs Heli-X on macOS 15.3.2
- I'm also using a Spektrum WS2000 USB dongle with a Spektrum DX9 transmitter
2. 2019 iMac with Intel chipset does NOT runs Heli-X on macOS 15.3.2 any more, it did run on macOS 15.1
- I'm also using a Spektrum WS2000 USB dongle with a Spektrum DX9 transmitter
Good news... if you go to Heli-X's downloads page there's new information clarifying which Mac processors and MacOS versions need to run Heli-X v9, v10 and the new v11. https://www.heli-x.info/cms/download-2/
I'm now using Heli-X v9 on my 2019 Intel-based iMac because I'm running macOS 15.4 and it works fine. My Mac mini M4 is now running Heli-X v11 and that is also running fine. In both cases I use a Spektrum transmitter with a Spektrum WS2000 USB dongle.
It's absolutely super that the developers at Heli-X are continuing their support form macOS... THANK YOU !!!!!
