VR Model Size on screen - difference between V10 and V11

Post by FormulaAustin »

I am using the Raw 700 heli.

On my V10 VR the model is 'bigger' on the (VR Goggle) screen than with V11 VR (using the same VR headset - Meta Quest 3).

All my screen settings are the same between versions (see screen shots).

QUESTION: What do I need to do to make the model larger on V11 VR?

the only cause I can imagine is the Miscellaneous-object zoom, which works both on VR and non-VR.

Hi,

I have just installed Heli-X. I have the same problem, the world scale seems to be fine and realistic, but the heli in it is too small.
The Raw 700 feels like an 500-class heli.

I'm an X-Plane developer and I'm working a lot in VR as well, so I know how a properly sized object should look like in VR (and also I saw bad examples of scaling, usually happens because the model sizes are inaccurate and when transforming from 2D to 3D this issue come up)

Thank you in advance

Best regards
Adrian

ps.: zoom in and out are greyed out in menu which is the correct way because the world rendering should not being zoomed to avoid motion sickness.

please check the object zoom in global settings.

Do you have similar feelings for other models, also?
