IS Hosting a server now "Live" with Heli X 11?

The reason i ask is that after successfully running an online server for quite a while on Heli=X 10 i am now unable to run one on the latest release - i have seen 2 privately hosted servers running but i cannot connect to either of them kand i have not seen anybody populating them either.

I have allowed Heli-X 11 (both normal and VR .exe files) through the firewall, and have gone through the port forwarding exactly as i have done on the previous release (even used the same ports AND different ports).
Just wondering if the "stand alone" server tool needs permissions/allowances made as well?

When opening up boot/load screen i find the following error message:
Can not resolve URL: Server returned HTTP response code: 400
Obviously there is a break in connection somewhere along the way, but i'm stumped at the moment, any help would be appreciated..

Also what is the proper way to use the stand alone "Server" software, once i enter the server details and save them will i see my server a available from a list of online servers and be able to connect to it?

After talking to a few people that have tried to host servers with the new release there doesnt seem to be any clear information as to how to achieve this and that maybe a clear and in depth documented "How to" should be available.

The server program is a new one. So it might be not sufficient to allow HELI-X and HELI-X VR through the firewall ....

Allowing an app through the firewall.

Looking at the Heli X files downloaded within the Heli-X11 folder there isn't a great deal of files/apps that can be allowed through the firewall.
There isn't an obvious icon (like Heli-X Heli-X_VR) to choose from, there are two java based icons that have the same icon type but they are not the making any difference.

There is a folder called server within the Heli-X files but clicking on that only opens a blank folder.

Creating inbound/outbound rules for windows firewall wizard

Rules for ports are quite simple to create for both TCP and UDP, so that isn't an issue for me, but if the Program option is chosen then once again we have the same issue as above - just the Heli-X/Heli-X_VR exe icons are available as well as the two java icons and an empty server folder.


Once again I would like to ask for a more detailed explanation or documentation of how to access/accomplish this part of the SIM

Actually run into problems with hosting a server with linux.

./Java/jre21/bin/java -DServer.port=8080 -DAllowedOrigins=http://192.168.1.127:8080 -jar "$JARPATH" -d helix.xxxx.xx --enableRemoteShutdown --name "Session" --password mypassword -t SkyBox -s SkyBox/MVA-Almere/MVA-Almere --dataDir ./files/server --resources ./resources/flights

If I start the version 11 server, the binding of port 62500 is wrong? See attached file.

I can not connect from external on port 62500.
Message: "Verbindung zum Server kann nicht hergestellt werden"

Port forwarding from external 62500 to internal server 62500 is working on UDP and TCP. Tested with Telnet.
