Screen resolution issue in Heli-X V11

Post by Fireblade812 »

Hi,

I've been using V10 for years but I'm new to this forum.

I'm running both V10 and V11 on my Macbook M2Max. In V11 even if I changed the resolution in global settings the display quality of fullscreen still not changed after restart. I tried play with both canvas size and resolution but the result is still the same. It's running smooth in V11 though so the only problem for me is getting better graphics quality similar to V10. Please help check and advice.

Thanks.

For fullscreen only the settings in the global options are relevant, not the canvas size.

Do you have multipble monitors? Thy changing theier order?
Make sure you also ust the correct monitor refresh rate in the openGL settings ...

I'm on built-in display only while testing V11. I tried different monitor refresh rate say 100 or 120 but don't see any difference. Resolution set to 3456x2234 which is the native resolution of the display. The actual display quality/resolution looks like normal HD only. I have similar settings on V10 and it looks much better.

After switching airport to MVA-Almere-H2 the resolution problem is fixed. But the antialias setting seems not working. When I land the M7 on the ground I can see rough edges on the canopy regardless of what antialias setting I'm using. On V10 if I do the same the canopy looks butterly smooth.

Thanks.
