Demo Heli x locks up when controller selected

Hi, Just downloaded the demo to see how it works. I have a futaba usb interlink controller and when I scan for controller it selects i-controller. When I select ok everything locks up. If I unplug the controller the program closes. When started again it just locks up again. Without the controller pluged in the program will start but when rescan controllers is selected it does nothing. Is there anyway to use this controller with Heli-x?

Please start HELI-X with controller pluged in, and open the terminal window in HELI-X and show the contents.

When selected controller it locked again this is on the terminal

Well guess that means won't be buying Heli-x if no one can figure it out.
