Re: Compatible controllers / Joysticks und Controller
Can the people posting compatible controllers please also note how many channels the USB controller is passing through? For example, the cheap DealExtreme controller that I listed below is only passing through four channels (throttle, rudder, elevator, aileron) and none of the switches or other ...

Re: Tester für HELI-X 2.0
I think Michael wants to focus on people who can speak German for beta-testing as it's much simpler for him to not have to translate instructions back and forth.
I'm all for anything that will get us 2.0 sooner than later!

Re: Lead for transmitter
Do you mean this one:
http://www.dynam-rc.com/products/usb/simulitorline.htm
It looks exactly like the no-brand one I got from DealExtreme which is only 4 channel... I guess I can try to give it a go to see if I can get 5 and 6 channels wokring.

So no news yet as to version 1.2 and what we can expect in terms of features -- and when it is coming out?

Re: Lead for transmitter
Has anyone gotten a USB converter with more than 4 channels to work? If so, could you post the brand name and model number? My cheap $7 converter only does the first four channels -- which doesn't let me set idle-up and I'd like to practice idle-up and auto-rotations as realistically as possible ...

Re: Can't get my motor started.
Yeah, no joy in getting channels 5 and 6 of my Tx recognized. I'm not sure if it's a USB adapter problem or something with the settings.
Is there any way of seeing the raw inputs from the USB controller vary in real time -- as with the X/Y/Ry/Rz settings?

Dear Michael -
Thank you for the fast reply! OK, I understand. It really is like a real bird!
I've been promoting Heli-X wherever I go! It's a great sim!

Re: Can't get my motor started.
I can't get idleup1 to properly assign to a controller button, but I'm not sure if this is a problem with my USB adapter or not.
So I just use the keyboard '1' key instead, it's easy that way and less to worry about!
I might have to try again once I get skillful enough to do inverts.

Loss of rudder control mid-flight
I'm greatly enjoying Heli-X on my MacBook Pro and my JR XP6102 transmitter. One thing I've noticed is that I often lose rudder control and my heli starts piroing out of control . I turned the sticks display on and it doens't seem to be a controller problem as the sticks are properly centered and ...
