Just updated my MacBook to Yosemite. Installing the Java from the Oracle site and copying the library did work. Heli-X is running fine.

Just find the file in the library, select DUPLICATE from the context menu and then rename the duplicate.
To see the Library hold the ALT key while showing the GOTO menu in the finder.

Hi Michael,
when you said "Softlink" in your mail from last night, I made an alias which didn't help.
Now I made a copy and this works!!

Little bit different for me.
I installed the Java from the Oracle Side after the request. Now Heli-X starts, opens the statistics window but no main window.
