Simple HUD on - Strange behavior of calculation formula "Distance to Home"

I am flying heli TRON70 at Dietersdorf airport.
Simple HUD is being displayed on screen.
When flying heli along the middle line of the take-off runway "Startbahn" in direction approx. 80 degrees, then distance to home keep staying at zero (0) m. Distance will only be calculated when flying in oppsit direction approx 280 degrees (however, the result is in doubt).

German: Der Begriff Distance to home ist vermutlich der Bodenabstand des Flugobjekts vom Startpunkt. Fliege ich mit dem Heli jedoch in einer geringen Flughöhe (ca 3m) entlang der Startbahnmittellinie in Winkelrichtung etwa 80 Grad (das ist nnach links entlang der Startbahnmittellinie) ist der Abstand IMMER 0 Meter.
