Hello all,
I'm trying out the heli-x simulator and, maybe I'm doing something wrong here, but I can't get the heli to keep altitude - it's always bouncing up and down without any collective/pitch input change.
Here is my info:
Win10 64bit
Heli-X 6.0.1614 Demo
RF Interlink controller
Trying several helicopters (that available in the demo version)
Any ideas?

Can you give more details on the bouncing?
When resting in stable hover it would be natural to first descend as heli looses lift in own downwash. When coming into ground effect it would gain some more lift and go up again... Is that what you mean?

Have you turned on wind? Changing winds usually cause such behaviour, in Heli-X and in real life...

I'm aware of ground effect, but this is very different from the other sims I've tried (RealFlight and neXt) and it's uncontrollable (to me at least).
The wind is at 0.

Could you try a differend model (I currently am not aware of the available models in demo version, as I use the full version)?
edit1: try to reduce ground effect intensity: Simulation -> Helicopter Selection -> TRex500 -> Edit -> GroundEffectIntensity (try 0.5 instead of the default of 1)

I've tried with GroundEffectIntensity 0.5 and 0, it doesn't help.
I've tried with Trex-500 and Logo-600, similar behavior.
I also found that once I increase the Collective/Pitch above that noticeable bouncing level, it goes up very high.
