...Thanks for your replies - I will keep up the hovering practice and read up on simulators etc. Seems I need more hours to fly one of these helis (thinking of buying a Walkera Master CP ) but after I can hover and land on the SIM..

For me it took one complete week of simulator flying before I actually could even think of controlling a real model. I started with a Walkera Genius CP (v1) and actually was able to hover the little thing until the batteries were empty. Heli flying is a challenge. That's the main reason why I chose this hobby, as it seldomly gets boring, even after years.
