If press QUIT and CANCEL, then all the menus come back and everything works fine.
And quits fine as well.

You might need more information, when I launch the simulator, the loader window appears, I choose PPM, the scene window appears with all the menus until the demo window apperas, then all the menus go away except the "Heli-x -> About Heli-x", I wait for the demo window to let me click OK, I then QUIT and CANCEL, and all the menus come back.
It works then perfectly and let me QUIT without problem.

thank you for your clear explanation. It looks as if the Swing-thread gets into problems from the Nagscreen. Well, this is the first time I here this, and on my machine I do not have this behavior. I'll check the code whether I can find a reason for this behavior.

the problems you have seem to be a Java/Mac problem (at least you find hints when googeling). I tried to fix the problem with just calling a repaint() after closing the window. Since you are the only one who encountered the problem I would be glad if you want to test this. Please send me an email and I'll provide you with the updated version.

It is fixed. The problems only appeared with the nag screen. The next revision (968) will not show the problems anymore.
