Bus 003 Device 004: ID 0402:0402 ALi Corp.

diese Zeile taucht auf, wenn das usb interface angesteckt ist.
Sonst nix!

Hallo,

ich bin noch hier dran:

Failed to open device (/dev/input/event4): Failed to open device /dev/input/event4 (13)

Darum versuch mal folgendes:

sudo chmod 777 /dev/input/e*

Dann tippe

ls -l /dev/input

Und zeige uns die Ausgabe.

Dann starte HELI-X. Wenn es nicht geht, zeige uns das Logfile.

Da sind wir doch schon mal ein Stück weiter.

Zuvor gab es ja viele Fehlermeldungen "Unable to open device", jetzt nur noch eine für event7. Das ist auch bei der Liste aus dem ls-Befehl nicht dabei. Offnebar wurde es neu erzeugt und hat wohl noch die falschen Rechte.

Also bitte aus diese Situation:

ls ...
sudo chmod ...
ls ...
HELI-X starten
Was sagt das Logfile
Eventuell noch einmal wiederholen ab den ersten ls ...

Damit sind die Fehlermeldungen von HELI-X weg. Trotzdem erkennt er die Hardware nicht als Joystick. Es ist denkbar, dass der Controller als etwas anderes erkannt wird. Versuch mal, mit den JoytickAnalyzer die Sache zu durchleuchten:

Hallo,
ich glaube, dein USB Interface erzeugt den /dev/input/js0 eingang.

Man müsste jetzt mal einen Symlink darauf erzeugen, da Heli_x scheinbar die nicht abfragt, oder Michael?

Symlink erzeugen mit:
sudo ln -s /dev/input/js0 /dev/input/event8

ggf. die Rechte von js0 noch ändern

sudo chmod 777 /dev/input/js0
und
sudo chmod 777 /dev/input/e*

Probiere das mal.

Bei Markus läuft auch der JoystickAnalyzer nicht. Komische Sache.
