Controller

When I start the demo of the program no matter what I do my DX6i is not recognized and the message 'no controller detected' appears on startup and in the configure menu.
My system meets all the Mac requirements, and I have the transmitter connected directly to the computer USB, not a bus.
I really would like to evaluate for purchase but cannot get past the app opening.
Any suggestions

Hi,
this seems to be a problem with your interface. Are you sure, it is for flight simulators and not for configuring the transmitter?

Am I required to have an interface other than USB from my transmitter to the computer?

May I add that both my Spectrums work straight to the computer USB port with the Phoenix software without additional interface.

I'm new to this but my Dx8 works great with a USB connection. Make sure your transmitter is plugged in and on before launching Heli-x.

I have had the Tx both on and off , it's still not
seen as connected.

I got the same problem here with the DX8. I'm doing the following:
1) Connecting the USB to the Macbook Pro (the led of the USB interface is turning to a constant red)
2) Connecting the plug to the DX8
3) The DX8 starts up in "slave" mode (the USB interface starts blinking red)
4) Starting Heli-X
5) When configuring the joystick I can't see any stick movement from the transmitter
What am I doing wrong?

Just getting started. My problem was borrowed USB from friends Phoenix setup, not compatible. Bought new cable and appear to be up and running.
