Losing colors when switching between window and full-screen

I'm running 10.1 on Linux (I can't figure out any way to save the "about" info so I can include it here. Selecting / copying text in the about and terminal windows appears to be disabled for some reason).
When heli-x starts (either full screen or windowed), colors are all correct. When I switch between windowed and full-screen, I loose colors/textures. For example, the Piper Cub changes to light gray with a medium gray stripe on one wing. The wind sock at Dietersdorf changes from red strips to purple. Other models suffer from similar changes. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
